Ireland U18 Women’s squad features 2 Longford RFC players

The Ireland U18 Women’s squad, sponsored by PwC, has been named for the training camps to be held in advance of this season’s Six Nations U18 Women’s Festival which takes place at Wellington College in England in April. The training camps themselves take place in March.

The coaches have named a 32 strong squad which will then be reduced to 28 for the actual Festival itself

We are thrilled that two of our U18 girls have been included, Diana Izekor (who was also a member last year) and Mia Rowan. Congratulations to both our girls who have brought great honour to themselves, their families and the Club.

The tournament will likely follow a similar structure to last year with each team playing two thirty-minute matches on game days one and two and a full sixty minute match on the last day of the tournament.

Last year, the games were live streamed on the Irish Rugby channel and it is likely that this year will follow suit.
