Ireland U18 Girls

Huge congratulations to Mia Rowan, one of our U18 Girls squad, who has been selected as a member of the Ireland U18 Girls squad for this season’s 6 Nations Festival which takes place at Wellington College in England in April. A number of training camps took place in March and there was a trial/friendly match -v- England last week.

We are thrilled that two of our U18 girls were included in the initial training squad, including Diana Izekor (who was also a member last year), but unfortunately misses out this year. Congratulations to both our girls who have brought great honour to themselves, their families and the Club.

The tournament will likely follow a similar structure to last year with each team playing two thirty-minute matches on game days one and two and a full sixty minute match on the last day of the tournament.

Last year, the games were live streamed on the Irish Rugby channel and it is likely that this year will follow suit.
