Longford receive walkover against Wexford
Longford receive walkover against Wexford

Longford 1st XV's game this Sunday against Wexford Wanderers will not go ahead after the club received a walkover against the Division Three side.

Longford were due to play Wexford - who will be in Division Two next season - this Sunday, April 11, in the second round of the Provincial Towns Plate, however the club have received a walk-over and will now go into the quarter-final of the competition, where they will face either Tullow or Newbridge, who play on Sunday at Tullow's home ground, Black Gates. 

A date for that quarter-final match will be confirmed at a later date.

Longford 2nd XV are in action at home this Saturday against Dundalk in the Provincial Seconds Cup. Kick-off in the Demesne is at 3pm.

Membership 2010/11

All players please note

Rugby membership is now due for the coming season, 2010/11. It's important for all players of all grades to renew as non-payment means that you can't play for the club, owing to insurance reasons. The membership is as follows: €120 for senior players; €60 for non-playing members (including coaches); €60 for students. Mini/Youths €30 (where there are three or more children from the same family, €75).

Membership is payable to Donal Considine, Membership Secretary, or to the appointed member of your team or committee
